16.1 hands. Last raced 12/31/20 at Gulfstream Park. Last worked 5/22/2021 at Belmont Park. Zaccapa has shown nothing but class and a winning personality in the short time she’s been with us.
Retired with a torn left front digital flexor tendon on 7/1/21. She’ll be on round pen turn-out for several weeks, then we’ll scan the tendon and determine whether she needs another 30 days, or can go to a small paddock.
She’s doing well in the round pen, a high-energy mare but smart and willing for whatever is asked of her.
