16.1 plus hands. He last raced on 8/12/23 and retired with a left front bowed tendon. He has finished rehab and is slowly being introduced to pasture turnout and riding. We do have ultrasound scans.
Wheat is a lovely gelding with a great mind and a fabulous trot. He is naturally athletic and well-balanced and is always looking for engagement and play with people. We can’t wait to see him under saddle – he is eager and responsive on the ground and should be a blast to retrain. He would be a fantastic eventing or dressage project.
Wheat’s bow has healed very well. With a careful reintroduction to training, he should not have any athletic limitations.
He is good for grooming but doesn’t care for clippers.
