Whataretherules

2 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in Kentucky
Malibu Moon (A.P. Indy) out of Moonlight Sonata by Carson City

16.3 hands and growing. He has no published works and has never raced. We are told he last breezed in March where he fractured his left front P1 (pastern). It was surgically repaired with 2 screws. Our vet says it is healing beautifully and he is now sound and ready to train. He may develop arthritis in the future. We do have radiographs.

He is a huge gelding with legs for days. He has settled in well and adjusting to off track life. We have not seen any vices and he keeps to himself in the stall. He was a little fidgety for our vet but was respectful of  both the vet and handler. He has a beautiful hunter type build and way of going. He is very good for a 2 year old and very kind. Please be aware he is still growing and will be 17 hands or more.  He will make a perfect amateur horse. He is kind, slow and respectful. He handles everything very well and wasn’t afraid of the ground poles. He did get excited to canter and did throw a small buck though he did not drop his head. We feel he will work through this.

He will be a clean slate to train at full athletic ability.
