16.1 hands. He last raced in 2017 and is sound. He has shown through preliminary level three-day eventing. He is registered with the USEA and USEF. Barn name Topper. He does have 3 screws in his right fetlock.
Topper showed USEA sanctioned shows in the Open divisions of Novice, Training and Preliminary Level. To date his career boosts no cross country jumping penalties, and only 8 stadium jumping penalties. He is a brave, reliable jumper. He won the Ocala Winter II horse trial Open Training division finishing on his dressage score of 33.6 in March of 2022.
Donated by his amateur owner as a fundraising opportunity for the other transitioning horses of Second Stride. They feel he is best suited for a rider dedicated to one horse and wanting to do big things. Or perhaps one that just wants to hit the trails even. He at times will buck with out warning for them and the current owner is a pleasure rider not wanting that level of athleticism. The horse has had top level care and full vetting to explore any issues. This could be a wonderful opportunity to help the horses of our program transition while getting a horse for a fraction of it’s show level value.
He has X-ray releases on file.
