16.1 hands. He retired with bone bruises in his hind legs. He needs some downtime before returning to work.
He last raced in February 2022 and was a winner of over $99,000. A hard worker with a good mind, he is kind but can be energetic. He is adjusting to farm life and taking it all in stride. He is quiet in his stall and we haven’t seen any vices in or out of the stall. He is turning out with other geldings and doing great. He quickly made friends and is quiet in the field.
Our rider stated he is a kind soul who just wants a direction and is willing to work. He is good on the ground but does need gentle reminders on standing still. Stood well by the mounting block and walked off well under saddle.
He stands well for vet and farrier.
