15.2 hands. She last raced in 2006 and was retired to be a broodmare. She has not had a foal since 2019- our current adoptable, Evan Sing. She is currently sound.
Via is a world traveler and has raced in Italy, France and Germany and finished her career in Florida. She is well behaved and respects her handlers. Via enjoys time out with her girlfriends and can be out 24/7. She also does well in her stall.
Via doesn’t seem to be spooky and takes things in stride. An intelligent mare, she will be best suited for easy trails, farm hacks or companionship. Via enjoys a good grooming session as long as no clippers are involved. 🙂
Via rode wonderfully on her first trip back under saddle in many years. She was brave and cooperative and had a nice way of moving. Via is brave and willing and nothing seems to phase her. She is good for children with supervision and/or a husband’s horse. A lovely, versatile, older mare to have in your barn.
