16 hands. He last raced on 8/25/23 and retired with a left knee slab fracture, nondisplaced.
He is currently on stall rest with hand walking until 10/25/23 for 10-15 minutes/day. On 10/26/23 he can go in a round pen or small paddock until 11/25/23, where he cannot get too much speed if he runs.
Uroncillo is doing well and is well behaved in the stall. He is good for bathing and grooming and is respectful of his handlers. He seems to be kind and well mannered. He is quiet in his stall. He walks quietly around the farm and doesn’t cause any issues. He seems intelligent and hasn’t shied away at anything he has encountered.
He was gelded on 9/21/23.
Ronnie needs encouragement with loading on a trailer. He unloads like a champ! Once on the trailer, he is good as gold and travels nicely.
