16.2 hands. He last ran on 7/25/21 at Gulfstream Park. He retired in August of 2021 with left knee and right hind lameness.
A laid back boy he is easy to work with in the barn and is kind in a herd. Seems to be an ammy friendly kind of guy.
Jamo has had the last 8 months off to heal from his soreness. He goes soundly now, however his prior owner doesn’t feel he will be able to handle a high level show career. Our vet cleared him for lower levels or flat work only.
He enjoys being groomed and is a lovely boy to be around. He stood well for our vet and farrier. Jamo gets along well in the herd of other geldings and walks easily on a lead rope.
Our rider states he is a fun ride. Jamo doesn’t seem to be bothered by anything while under saddle. He does feel weak in the hind end and will benefit from hill work.
