16 hands. He last raced on 5/26/25 and retired sound. He did get an irregular heartbeat when race training. We do have several medical evaluations for an interested adopter. In 2024, he did have a left front coffin bone fracture that is no longer an issue. He does have a dropped hip but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He will be best suited for low level activities.
Toddie is a good boy. Playful and kind, he respects his handlers and is well behaved in the stall. He enjoys playtime with his friends in the pasture and seems to get along well with other geldings.
A lovely boy to have in your life and see what he can do! He is brave and sensible. He should not do anything to strenuous.
Toddie is forward under saddle and well mannered. He seems to love to have a job and is eager to work. He is ready for low level riding and should excel with his speed and willingness to work. A great prospect to bring along the ranks or a nice project horse.
HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS EVENT: All horses will be half off the listed adoption fee if adopted and picked up by 12/15/25. Limited use horses and companions will have a waived fee for qualified and responsible homes that can commit to a lifetime home or will return the horse to Second Stride if no longer able to keep the horse and can’t find an appropriate home.
