16 hands. He last worked on 11/15/25 and retired with a small apical fragment in the right front medial sesamoid. In May of 2025, he had a right front fetlock chip removed. Ghost will need stall rest until January 16, then small paddock or round pen until February 16. If sound, he can then begin pasture turnout and begin walking under saddle with light trotting in straight lines. Ghost is hoped to heal with no athletic limitations if his rehab is completed carefully. A PPE is recommended for an athletic career.
Ghost is a graded stakes winner with earnings of $156,752 and is from a long line of Classic race winners. He is bred to be a hard worker, and his demeanor since he’s been with us has shown him to be very intelligent, pleasant to work with, and able to adapt to new settings quickly. He will be a good fit for an adopter looking for a partner/career involving regular work with a clear sense of progress – h/j and eventing seem like natural options for him. Ghost loves peppermints and waits politely while his friends have theirs, too.
Ghost stands well for blanketing and grooming and was a very good boy for his picture session!
Ride eval pending.
