16.2 hands. He last ran on 10/27/23 and retired with a left front bowed tendon. He will need to stay in the round pen until 2/13/23. At that point, he will need a new ultrasound on the leg to get further instructions on his next phase of rehab. We do have scans.
Trip qualifies for our home for the holidays event where the fee will be half off through 12/31/23. If you bring your trailer the day of appointment and take home you will get an additional $100 off.
He was castrated on 11/16/23.
Trip is a good boy but does have a lot of energy and will need an experienced handler at this time. He is good in his stall and while in the round pen. We haven’t noticed any vices. He stands well for the vet and farrier and enjoys interaction with people.
He will be best suited for flat work but with proper rehab, he may be able to do some low level jumping if your vet approves.
Trip can be nippy so he will need proper and kind correction until he learns his boundaries.
He stood well for the vet and farrier.
