16 hands. She last raced in 2017 and is race winner of over $21,000 and hit the board in over 50% of her races. We are not aware of any injury history. We were not given much history on her, but she did not race until she was 3 and was retired at age 8. It doesn’t appear that she was ever bred.
Birdie has settled in well to our farm and was accepted into our mare herd without issue. We do know she was turned out with a gelding and 2 minis in her former home. Birdie is a lovely girl that seems to adapt quickly to new surroundings. She is well behaved in the herd and didn’t have issues being in a stall. She is respectful on a lead rope and when being groomed. A lovely mare to work with.
Birdie did well on her first ride and was very willing. She is a proven hard worker and will work hard for her new partner. She was well behaved under saddle.
She stands well for the vet and farrier.
She should be suitable for any lower level discipline.
