16 hands. He last worked on 8/15/23 and was retired due to knee irritation and breathing issues when working. Currently riding sound.
He was castrated on 12/28/23.
Tall, dark and handsome, Ten Extra is also kind and level headed. He loves to be curried and brushed, stands nicely in crossties, and gets right to work in the ring. Ten has a forward walk, a comfortable trot and a powerful canter. He is still working on pacing and relaxation at the canter, but does know his leads. Ten is comfortable walking and trotting over poles and tiny crossrails. He needs to work on softness in downward transitions, but is a trustworthy and well-intentioned horse for an experienced rider.
Ten’s breathing is slightly audible at the canter.
Ten should be suitable for any non-speed-trial discipline, however, a PPE is recommend for an athletic career.
Ten is respectful of his handlers and is polite for blanketing. He gets along well with geldings who enjoy vigorous play. He also is fine with solitary turnout.
