16.3 he last worked 3/30/24 and retired with a right front, non-displaced lateral condylar fracture (fetlock). He is currently turned out with other geldings and doing well. At this point, he will be pasture sound only. He is currently on Equiox for comfort.
Surrogate is a very sweet gelding that will melt your heart upon first meeting. He is very kind and willing. He walks nicely on a lead rope and respects his handlers. He loves to be groomed, especially on the neck, and appreciates a nice hug.
He is quiet in his stall and doesn’t bother his neighbors.
Surrogate stands well for the vet and farrier.
