16 hands. He last worked on 6/9/26 and retired sound, non competitive. He did have mild positive flexion in his right hind fetlock most likely due to some arthritis.
Sam has settled in well to retirement and is making friends with other geldings. He seems to be kind and intelligent and an easy keeper. He is well mannered for grooming, vet and farrier. Enjoys his bath and grooming sessions and is a pleasant horse to be around. He walks politely on a lead rope and settles down quickly to graze upon turnout. He remains quiet in his stall but can weave at times.
Sam has a lovely personality and is an enjoyable horse to have in your barn and will fit in nicely in any situation. He should be suitable for any discipline.
A PPE is highly recommended for a high level sport career.
