16.2 hands. He last worked on 8/3/24 and retired with bone bruising and arthritis in his fetlocks. He is now sound and ready to be trained for a new discipline.
He was castrated on 7/10/25.
Wickets is a good boy, but he will benefit from groundwork. He is walking nicely on a lead rope and is doing well with grooming and handling. He prefers scissors over clippers and is well behaved when pulling his mane. He was well behaved for vet and farrier as well.
He is currently turning out with other geldings and is doing well. He is quiet when out and is well behaved in his stall.
He did well under saddle for his first post track ride. He is race track minded and will benefit from groundwork before starting his new job. He is willing to work and please and should do nicely with time and regular rides. He seems to be a bit lazy but does want to do what he is being asked. Seems to be sensible under saddle and a nice mount to have.
He will be best suited for flat work.
