16.1 hands. Sinister had his last work on 2/7/21. He only has 2 races under his belt and retired sound. He does have an old, set bow that does not bother him. He did flex slightly positive on the right front lower limb but is riding sound.
Sinister is one of our riders’ favorites – more whoa than go but plenty athletic, he is steady, willing, obedient and picks up his leads nicely. Sinister is currently safe and reliable transportation in the ring and on trails. He is ready to continue his education and refine his skills. We think he’d be fantastic in hunters or eventing, but put western saddle on this guy and you’d think he was born in it. Truly a versatile horse who will give you a solid effort and good attitude no matter the task.
Sinister does well with confident, experienced handling on the ground. Given this, he is very well-mannered. We groom and tack him up both untied in his stall and also on crossties; he behaves well in both settings.
Sinister turns out quietly with other geldings and settles down quickly to graze. He stood well for our vet and farrier and should be suitable for any discipline that he enjoys.
