16 hands. She last raced in 2013 and was retired. We are not aware of any injuries she may have had in her past. She had her last foal in 2023 and came up barren in 2024. She is eligible for the RRP Broodmare Division.
Silver is a sweet mare and is well behaved on the ground. She is respectful of her handlers, riders and grooms. She walks politely on a lead rope and was good for the vet and farrier. She is quiet in her stall and is also fine being out 24/7. She seems to be an easy keeper and is a lovely mare to work with. She doesn’t mind being stalled next to geldings and does fine in our mare herd.
Under saddle, she is well behaved. On her first ride in several years, she was anxious, but she didn’t misbehave. She will benefit from groundwork to help with her back in the saddle transition. She has a beautiful gate and looks like she would do well in dressage.
She will be suitable for any age appropriate discipline.
