16.2 1/2 hands. He last raced in June of 2024 and retired with a left hind, proximal suspensory tear. He is currently on full turnout. He is now under saddle at the walk and doing great!
Second Service is very quiet and respectful. He can be grouchy in his stall at times. He stands still for cold hosing, was wonderful for the vet and stood quietly for the farrier. He will benefit from ground work and desensitization in his new surroundings. He can be skittish when putting a blanket on, however, once the blanket is on his back, he stands quietly for buckling all straps.
He was gelded on 10/3/24.
Once fully and properly rehabbed, he should be able to handle lower level athletic type training. He is currently sound at the walk and will need through spring before trying anything more than a trot.
Under saddle, he is quiet and respectful. He listened well to his rider and seemed to enjoy getting back to work.
This horse will be a hit in the barn, on the trails or in the show ring.
He is a mild cribber.
