15.3 hands. He last raced in September of 2021 and was retired. We are not aware of any injuries. He has been used as a teaser but has since been gelded. He is very polite and easy to work with.
Sauced settled in quickly to our farm and was turned out with a herd of geldings soon after arrival. He does best when out with confident geldings.. He has a nice, floaty gait when prancing through the field. He was good for grooming and blanketing and didn’t mind being worked with while eating his grain. He is a very pleasant horse to be around. When stalled next to mares, he didn’t seem to mind and just munches on his hay.
Sauced is well behaved under saddle and enjoys being back to work. He has a soft mouth and listens well to leg cues. He is willing, forward and fun to ride. He should be suitable for intermediate and up riders. Beginners will need to have a trainer to get him accustomed to being under saddle again.
He will be suitable for any discipline.
He is a cribber.
