16.2 hands. He last raced on 3/26/24 and retired with a left front suspensory rupture. We do have scans.
America will be on round pen turnout until 10/10/24. At that point, he will need to have a scan done on the leg to check healing status. If doing well, he can begin small paddock turnout. He will be suitable for flatwork only. He does have a fracture on the inside sesamoid.
America is a kind gelding and pleasant to be around. He settled in nicely to farm life and is good in his stall. He seems to have a good foundation and is respectful of his handlers. He keeps to himself in the barn and enjoys watching what is going on.
He is a cribber.
America is well behaved for grooming, blanketing, and loves his treats!
Through September, all listed adoption fees will be half off. Companion only horses fees will be waived.
