16.3 hands. He last raced on 1/15/25 and was retired. We are not aware of any injuries. He did have time off from Feb-Oct of 2024 but we were told that was just to rest. He is currently sound.
QT is a large and in charge gelding who has settled into retirement quickly. He needs a patient adopter that will be able to help with ground manners. He isn’t bad but can be a tad pushy. He is every bit of 16.3 hands and thick in the chest and girth, so a more confident handler, rider will be best for him if his size is an issue.
QT is quiet in his stall and when he is turned out in the field. He gets along well with his neighbors and does well with others when out. He unloaded off the van very quietly and settled in quickly once in his stall. He seems to be an easy keeper and was good for the vet and farrier. He has been respectful when grooming, walking and blanketing.
He will be suitable for any discipline. A PPE is recommended for an athletic career.
