16 hands and very well bred, he last worked on 5/27/21 and retired sound but slow.
A lovely mover with a floaty gait, he is ready to train for his next job and is suitable for any discipline.
Pertain will need an advanced rider/handler to help him transition to his new job. He is a very forward ride and needs ground manners. He will take advantage of a timid rider. He is very willing but if triggered, will run through the bridle. Pertain wants to please and has a great work ethic. He hacked out back alone on our farm and had no issues. He will do best with someone that will be able to dedicate several days each week training him to help him transition successfully. He stood well for our vet and farrier.
