16 hands. He last worked on 10/26/22 and retired with a left hind sesamoid fracture that does have fragments. He has finished his rehab and is now ready for light riding. There is no arthritis in the joint.
Pearly is a big-hearted gelding who has the size and suspension to make an excellent dressage partner. He learns quickly and offer great effort for a rider who can provide consistent and fair guidance.
Pearly would also be suitable as an adult’s pleasure or trail horse.
Pearly is gentle and well behaved when being groomed or tacked up in his stall. He can become startled by chickens or other unfamiliar sights when walking on a lead rope around the farm; he requires a patient and knowledgeable handler to help him progress. He stands well for clipping, the vet and the farrier.
Pearly is ready to get started back under saddle and learn his new job!
Pearly doesn’t seem to have any vices and is kind and intelligent.
