16.1 hands she is ready for career number 3! She ran one race in 2011 and has been retired ever since.
She is not suitable to be a broodmare as she has lost her last few foals. She is a lovely lady with a lot to offer! She is full of charm and love and enjoys being groomed. She stands well in the wash rack and for tacking up. She was very good for our vet. She loves being out with her friends and gets along well with everybody. We are told she had no injuries. She does have a melanoma on her neck and under her tail. Our vet said they aren’t bothering her and don’t seem to be an issue.
Palm is coming along at her own pace with each ride. She will need an adopter who can commit to spending time with her on a regular basis to help her transition go well. She prefers a soft hand and patience while under saddle and works hard to please her rider. She will need an advanced, experienced rider as she can get frustrated trying to figure things out. It has been many years since she has been ridden so the more patient and confident the rider the better she will do! She will be suitable for any lower level discipline but the more laid back the better. She would also make a great babysitter or pasture mate for someone.
She is coming along and adjusting to her new life.
