16.3 hands. He last worked on 5/10/23 and was an earner of over $135,000! He retired sound.
He does have osselets on the front fetlocks but they do not hinder him. He does very slight swelling in the right knee.
Otto is a cool, outgoing guy with a confident attitude and kind disposition. He is easy to work with and walks well on a lead rope. He is respectful of his handlers and is easy to groom and work with. He stood well for the vet and farrier.
Otto did great on his first ride off the track and seemed to enjoy being back under saddle. He has a nice forward trot and canter and listens to what is being asked of him. He doesn’t seem to be bothered by much and wasn’t shying away from the arena or outside surroundings.
He was turned out with other geldings and did well. Keeps to himself once he establishes his place in the herd.
Otto should be suitable for any discipline.
