!! ADOPTED !!
Mr. Ritz has been hanging out in CA living the good life. We were told he does have anxiety issues with heat and flies that is managed with medication. We have not seen any signs of this thus far. That being said, he is still taking the medication. He is a gorgeous horse and moves beautifully around the field.
Mr. Ritz goes out for a few hours each afternoon then comes back to his stall. He may do best in a home that has a stall for him to come in from the heat and flies. When out, he is well behaved and enjoys grazing with his gelding friends. There was no drama when he was turned out for the first time with other geldings. he enjoys grazing and running about when he is out.
Mr. Ritz has a nice forward trot and canter. He can get a little excited at the canter, but he listens and collects himself well. He will need an intermediate and up level rider at this time.
He is respectful of his handlers and enjoys being groomed. He stood well for the vet and farrier and is a lovely horse to look at and be around.
He should be suitable for any discipline.
