16 hands. Gorgeous bay gelding with tons of bling! He retired with a left front bow occurring 11/2/21. We do have the scans. He did have a knee chip in 2020 that was surgically removed and now healed.
He does need several months of rehab time before returning to full work. He is currently being turned out with an older, quiet gelding and doing very well. He gets along well with his friend and doesn’t play to hard. He spends his day quietly grazing and watching the goings on at the farm. He leads well coming in and out of the field and stays quiet in the stall. At 4 months post injury, if vet agrees, will start ground work, 6 months light riding, 1 year before returning to full work. Please consult your vet for additional rehab guidelines. He should be suitable for any discipline and will look classy under show tack! Once properly rehabbed he can return to full athletic ability.
He is an energetic youngster that seems intelligent. We have not noted any vices.
Ride eval pending.
