Growing, will be 16 hands or over. She never raced due to a torn patellar ligament in the right stifle. Her MCL was also compromised. The injury occurred in September 2023. She is now healed. She is currently learning to accept a rider.
Lydian is an exquisite filly – beautiful, intelligent and highly interested in engaging with her handlers. She loves neck scratches, stands well for grooming and picks up her feet with just a finger-tap on the ankle. Lydian is patient for wound care – she stood untied to have small scrapes on her back legs cleaned.
Lydian has a big, airy trot that would be gorgeous in the dressage ring. She will be a rare pleasure for an experienced trainer – a very sympathetic youngster with loads of potential.
Lydian will only be suitable for dressage or leisure riding. She is able to begin ground work training but should not be broke to ride until July 2024. She should never do any kind of jumping.
