16.3 hands. He last raced on 10/29/25 and retired sound. He did have and OCD removed from his left hock in June of 2021, and a knee chip removed from the left knee in January 2024.
Glory has been living on his race owners farm since October of 2025 and has already settled into retirement. He acclimated quickly to our farm and is doing well. He is quiet in his stall and settles down quickly to graze when turned out. He can be energetic when walking to and from his stall – needs confident handlers – but this is already improving.
Glory is warmhearted and loves company. He can be mouthy during blanketing and tacking up, but only in the way of a playful young horse. He was well behaved for grooming and stood reasonably well for the vet. He is practicing standing quietly for the farrier, but did get his fronts shoes on and hinds trimmed with only a small amount of time spent repositioning.
Under saddle, Glory is strong but has shown no vices. With a skilled rider, he is a straightforward ride who gets his leads and respects direction. He did well in the arena and on a short walk alone down the drive. He enjoys being ridden – is happy and peaceful after work.
He should be suitable for any non-racing discipline and should enjoy an athletic career. A PPE is recommended for sport use.
