16.2 hands. He last worked on 3/27/22 and retired with a left front medial spiral condylar fracture. He had the hardware removed on 7/5/22. We have xrays.
A striking chestnut with a huge build, he is a lovely mover. Left Hook has a kind demeanor and gets along well with his barn/pasture mates. He has settled in quickly to farm life and will make a nice partner for his lucky adopter. Hook enjoys a nice trail ride.
He stands well for vet and farrier. He is respectful of his handlers and walks well on a lead rope. He is currently sound.
Left Hook has healed well from his surgery. He will develop arthritis as he ages. If he has an athletic career, he may need supplements or injections.
