15.3 hands and growing. He never raced and has only one published work. He retired in March 2025 with a slab fracture to the right knee. He is now sound and ready to get back under saddle.
Konecny is a gentle soul with 2 year old energy. He is well behaved for his handlers and walks politely on a lead rope. He stands nicely for grooming and is quiet in his stall and when turned out. He does like to play with his next door neighbor when stalled in a playful way.
He is full of personality and loves attention and neck scratches. He respects everyone and was well behaved for his pictures, vet and farrier. He loves to steal your hat right off your head so keep those in your pocket before going into his stall! He prefers you to hold his head up and will rest it gently on your shoulder when fastening his blanket. He is a real sweetheart and is sure to make his person feel extra special especially after a tough day at work. Nothing but love from this dude!
His first ride went well and he was well behaved and cooperative. He has a nice gait and seems to have some athletic ability. He did well on a quick trip around the farm and didn’t spook or react to anything.
He should be suitable for any discipline.
