15.3 hands. She last raced November 2021 at Belmont Park and retired with a knee chip and arthritis in the right hock.
Red absolutely LOVES farm life. She is a great companion to other mares in the field. Red enjoys hacking around the farm, alone or with a friend. She has been restarted and enjoys jumping crossrails and small verticals. She needs a calm, confident rider. She has excellent ground manners and loves human interaction.
Red is very athletic and does best with calm, confident guidance form her rider. Leg is the key with Red, not for go but for reassurance. She steers more off the leg than reins. She relies on her rider for instruction and will do best with someone who can work with her several days a week. She is a very forward ride.
She walks nicely on a lead rope and enjoys being groomed.
She is well behaved for the vet and farrier.
