15.2 hands. He last raced on 6/8/24 and retired with a nondisplaced left front condylar fracture. He has 3 screws in the leg. His fracture has healed very well and should not limit him – approved for any non-racing discipline. X-rays available.
Kingfish is a smart, kind, athletic little horse who will be a fabulous project for an adult or skilled youth working with a trainer. He is willing under saddle – a green but sensible horse who responds well to instruction and praise. He can be enthusiastic when transitioning to the canter but does not misbehave. He rides well indoors and out. He would be lots of fun for eventing, hunter/jumpers, games, hacking, hunting – a good egg who could go many ways.
Fish enjoys being groomed, and has pleasant manners. He ties well, leads well, and is polite for the vet and farrier. He gets along well with gentle gelding pasture mates.
A wonderful partner and friend for any non-racing discipline.
