16.1 plus hands. He never raced but last worked on 3/19/22 and retired with a 25% tear in his right front tendon. He is currently on stall rest.
Killargue has finished his 30 days stall rest and is currently on a few hours of round pen turnout each day as of May 19. If he is quiet in the round pen, he can stay out as long as possible. In mid June, if the tendon is healing well, he can go out in a small paddock for further exercise. If the tendon continues to heal he can go out in a larger paddock with friends in mid July. 6 months before returning to light ground work. One year before full training. Please consult with your vet before making any changes to his rehab care. With proper rehab he will be able to return to full athletic ability.
Killargue is a spirited youngster that is coming along with his rehab very well. A fun loving guy with a mischievous personality but kind soul. At this point, he will need an experienced handler.
