K C is a beautiful mare who is always looking for engagement – she loves carrot stretches and trick training and is very eager for any activifty involving praise and treats. She will offer her stretches repeatedly to get one more carrot – a very smart mare.
K C has an active mind under saddle as well and enjoys staying focused by working over poles and through little obstacle courses. She benefits from a longer walking warm-up for relaxation and for better movement. K C has a nice trot that would be very pretty in dressage once she has had the benefit of a sensible introduction to basic flatwork over the winter. Her canter is wonderful, and as she mellows she is finding a canter frame suitable for hunter equitation.
K C gets along well with her mare friends and is very easy to work with in her stall during feed time and for blanketing.
She will be suitable for low to mid level athletics, no speed competitions. She should be comfortable jumping up to 2’3″. Excellent mid level dressage prospect.
