16.2 hands. He last raced on 5/14/25 and retired with a left front medial splint head fracture that was surgically repaired.
J is a very sweet natured boy that loves to give snuggles and kisses. Just a lovely boy. He is doing well in his recovery and stays calm when in the stall. He enjoys watching what is happening around the barn and playing with his neighbor. He was good for grooming and stands still for his leg wrapping sessions. He was well behaved for the vet and farrier.
J is well behaved in the field with other geldings and stays quiet. He walks politely on a lead rope and is respectful of his handlers. We have started groundwork and under saddle work with him, and he is doing well. A classy horse who has a good brain and calm demeanor. He will make a nice partner for his lucky adopter.
Depending on his soundness level once fully healed later this fall. He may be suitable for any discipline.
He is doing well under saddle but is currently only sound at the walk only.
