16.2 hands. He last raced on 5/14/25 and retired with a left front medial splint head fracture that was surgically repaired. He is currently on stall rest until 6/30/25. At that point, he can begin hand walking with stall rest for another 30 days (7/31/25). He will need to have new x-rays done to determine his next step.
J is a very sweet natured boy that loves to give snuggles and kisses. Just a lovely boy. He is doing well in his recovery and stays calm when in the stall. He enjoys watching what is happening around the barn and playing with his neighbor. He was good for grooming and stands still for his leg wrapping sessions. He was well behaved for the vet and farrier.
Depending on his soundness level once fully healed later this fall. He may be suitable for any discipline.
