16.1 hands. He last ran on 11/6/22. He retired with osselots, chips and arthritis from an old condylar fracture in his right front fetlock. There is a screw and multiple fragments in the ankle and we do have x-rays.
Joe is currently turned out with others and doing well. He is an easy going guy that likes to talk and let everyone know he is around.
Joe is good for grooming and getting a bath. He stands well for the vet and farrier and is an all around good boy. He walks respectfully on a lead rope and is respectful of his handlers. We have not seen any vices.
Joe will be best suited for very easy trails or as a companion.
He was castrated on 8/17/23.
