15.3 hands. She last raced 12/29/23 and retired with chips in both knees. She is now sound.
This girl is no Joke. A lovely, respectful and intelligent filly, she has excellent ground manners, is polite for blanketing, and enjoys being groomed and interacted with. She is quiet in her stall and watches with pricked ears while other horsses train in the arena. She walks well on a lead rope. Joke settled in quickly to off-track life and seems to enjoy the laid back way of the farm.
During Joke’s first ride she was cooperative and walked at an even pace in the arena and outdoors. She will benefit from rest and then a gentle reintroduction to ridden work.
Joke is turning out with other mares and does well. She is quiet in the field and settles down quickly to graze.
We have not noted any vices.
She has been cleared for most disciplines. Joke should not jump higher than 2 feet or do work involving sharp turns and high speed.
