16.3 hands. He never raced and has only one published work on 11/29/24. He is currently sound. He wasn’t interested in being a racehorse. We were not told of any injuries.
Jelly is a cool dude. He is laid back and has settled in well to our farm. He is the herd boss and gets along very well with his buddy in the field. He can be energetic at first meeting however, after a few minutes, he settles down and is very friendly and playful in the field.
Jelly keeps quiet in his stall and likes to play with his neighbor from his stall door. He is well behaved for grooming and blanketing and doesn’t seem to have any issues.
Jelly was lighted used on the racetrack and appears to have clean legs. He does have a small amount of edema on the left knee. This has been there since he was a baby. No issues were found at that point, and he was sent to training. The knee has never bothered him.
Jelly was well mannered under saddle and did what was asked of him. He was responsive and forward and seemed like a straightforward ride.
He should be suitable for any discipline.
