16.2 plus hands. He last worked on 3/7/26 and retired with a right front fetlock fracture. He has completed the majority of his rehab and is now turning out in the round pen. He stays relaxed and calm when out and enjoys his days under the sun and shade.
Burrito, as he was affectionately called at the track, is an extremely kind gelding who is well behaved for grooming, bathing, vet and farrier. He walks politely on a lead rope and seems to be an easy keeper. He remains quiet in his stall and doesn’t bother his neighbors. He enjoys watching what is going on outside his stall window and watching people work in the barn. A lovely boy all around.
He is ready for full turnout with a quiet friend. He is ready to begin a slow introduction to walk, trot under saddle. He should not jump until spring of 2027 if he is fully sound at all 3 gaits.
Burrito was calm and relaxed under saddle and did well on his first post track ride. He listened well and was pleasant to ride. He tries hard to do what is being asked of him and will make a nice partner with proper training.
A PPE is recommended for sport use.
