I’m A Fan Of A Jab

3 year old thoroughbred colt bred in KY
Accelerate (Lookin At Lucky) out of Curlin's Princess by Curlin
Eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project's
THOROUGHBRED MAKEOVER COMPETITION!

15.2 hands. He last worked on 11/3/23 and retired with a left front condylar fracture. It was repaired with screws.  He is currently on stall rest and hand walking until late April. We do have x-rays.

He will be castrated in late April once he is off stall rest. We are taking applications on him now but he won’t be ready to leave until gelded.

Jab is a cute little guy with a kind personality. He is well behaved and does what is asked of him. Jab enjoys treats and looking out his stall door to see what’s going on around the barn. He is easy to handle and is respectful of his handlers. He likes to be your shadow and will be in your business at all times.

Jab is intelligent and is kind while being groomed. He respects his handlers and is quiet in his stall.

Jab will come off stall rest around 4/28/24. He can then go into a round pen for another 30 days. If sound in late May, he can begin small paddock turnout if he stays quiet when out.

Once fully rehabbed, Jab should be suitable for any discipline.

Ride eval pending.
