17 hand striking chestnut gelding with lots of bling! He last raced 7/3/21 and retired with a left front bow though we are not sure of the date of injury.
Hashtag has graduated to small paddock turnout beginning 12/6/21 and will continue to follow our tendon protocol that states once, if quiet, will start his round pen turnout for 30-60 days. After a reevaluation, if healing properly, will transition to small paddock turnout for another 30-90 days. At 4 months post injury, if vet agrees, will start ground work, 6 months light riding, 1 year before returning to full work. Please consult your vet for additional rehab guidelines.
He is a kind gelding that is excellent while grooming and seems to be playful. He should heal well and go on to excel at any discipline. He’s going to look great in the ring or on the trails!
