15.2 plus hands. He last worked on 9/12/23 and retired with a right front bowed tendon. 30% tear. He is currently on round pen turnout and doing well. He will need to stay on round pen turnout through February 2024 then will need to be assessed for larger paddock turnout.
Harsh is eligible for our Home for the Holidays. His fee will be half off through 12/31/23. If you take him home the same day of appointment, you will get an additional $100 off.
Harsha is ready for 60 days in a round pen, ending 2/11/24. On 2/12 he can go out with others in a larger field. After 3/11/24 he can be rescanned to check status of bow and starting back lightly under saddle. He shouldn’t return to any type of athletic career until September 2024 without a vets approval.
He was castrated on 10/15/23.
Harsha is a kind and gentle gelding who is handling his rehab with class. He is good for his handlers and stays quiet while in the round pen and his stall. He doesn’t seem to have any vices and walks well on a lead rope.
He is good for grooming and enjoys attention. Harsha has quickly become a barn favorite with his fun and loving personality. He has a lot to learn but with patience and time, once properly rehabbed, he should be suitable for any discipline.
Harsh was good for the vet and farrier.
