16.3 hands. He last raced on 10/1/24. He retired in February 2025 with a left front suspensory injury. He is currently turned out with a quiet gelding and does very well. On 5/25/25 if he is sound and your vet okays, he can start slowly back under saddle at the walk, trot.
Haig is a tall boy with a bit of bling, a flashy guy. He is well behaved in his stall and walks respectfully on a lead rope. He is a bit energetic, but we expect him to be calmer once he is turned out. He stays quiet in his stall and plays with his neighbor over the stall wall. He is quiet when out and we haven’t noticed any vices. He stood well for the vet and farrier.
He should be suitable for flat work. A PPE should be done if interested in pointing him to a jumping career.
