16 hands. She last worked on 3/12/23 and never raced. She retired with a left front fetlock stress fracture. Radiographs on 4/12/23 determined round pen turnout until June ’23. She is now sound and doing well on night turnout with other fillies. She is now ready to start back to light work under saddle.
Vault is a very kind filly with a quiet disposition. She is a cribber that is controlled by a strap. She is quiet in her stall and gets along well with her neighbors. She is respectful of her handlers and was good for the vet and farrier.
Vault will need to go to a home where she will become part of the family. She should be able to compete at lower levels in athletic disciplines if her rehabilitation goes well.
Vault rode very well her first time out. She was quiet, well-mannered and did what was asked of her. A lovely little mare with a lot of potential to excel in her next job.
