16.3 hands. She last worked on 5/4/24 and retired sound. We were not told of any injuries. She did have issues with her breathing while racing but it hasn’t affected her here. She is foot sore so she will need some time to rest and recover before getting back to work.
Shuga is very sweet and easy going. She does have a bit of energy, but she settles in quickly once turned out or back in her stall. She currently is turning out with 3 other mares and does well.
Shuga is respectful of her handlers and is good for grooming. She enjoys attention and has a nice disposition. She stood well for the vet and farrier.
A nice mare to bring along, she should be suitable for any discipline.
