16 hands. She last raced in 2017. After she was retired from racing, her knees were x-rayed, the right front showed an old small deep fracture, she has never showed any lameness and has been ridden with no issues. She can no longer be bred. She will need her teeth floated within the next 6 months.
Gigi is a sweet mare who enjoys the life of retirement. She has been boarded in pasture with several other horses with no issues, she does seem to be the dominant one but not mean. She does fine in the stall for part of the day. She is respectful of her handlers and walks politely on a lead rope. She stands well for grooming, bathing, fly spray, vet and farrier.
Gigi will be suitable for any age appropriate discipline.
