16 hands. He last ran 5/7/21 and retired slow but sound.
A big bodied boy with a calm demeanor, he has been hanging out on his owners farm and has transitioned to our program nicely. He is a beautiful dark bay with just a few white hairs for a star. Quiet in the stall and paddock, he gets along well with his buddies and settles down quickly to graze.
We were not told of any issues and our vet did not find any problems and has cleared him to start training at full athletic ability. Perfect looks for trails or western disciplines.
He does have some rain rot that should clear up nicely.
He stands quietly for the vet and seems to enjoy being groomed. A nice gelding to be around, he is ready to meet his new partner!
